Overview

Here is a totally new concept and module called the GuestMaster Internet module.  This new module allows live bookings to be taken in real time directly from the Internet, this has not been done before at a price the average user could afford. 

The new Internet Reservations web site is where customers can go to check availability and make bookings direct with the accommodation of their choice.

The Internet module

This totally automated and easily configurable module runs on your PC, collects bookings and keeps the web site updated with your latest availability.  

You connect to the Internet using your normal Internet service provider, either via a standard modem dial up connection or via an "Always On" type connection such as ADSL Broadband.

As these days most internet service providers connections do not have any call charges (check this with your provider), the module can be set to update the web site every hour or so, and it won't cost you more.  If you have an "Always On" type connection like ADSL Broadband then you can set the module to update every 5 minutes and have a real time system collecting bookings.

 

The Internet Reservations Web Site

            

The secure Internet Reservations web site is what the customer sees, and allows them to check availability and make bookings.  You simply place a special hyper link to the GuestMaster Internet Reservations web site from your own Web Site, and / or include the link on Emails etc.

For the technically minded the hyper link will look like the one shown below, so it is easy to put this on to your existing web site.

Where the GM999999 is the serial number of your copy of the Internet module.

 

Confirmation Emails sent to the customer

When the booking is complete, the customer will automatically receive an Email like the one shown below.  

With all the automatic emails sent, the text can be easily configured by you to suit you needs.  You can also attach a document to the Emails that given a full explanation of your terms and conditions and a map of how to get to you.

Costs of using this service to the hotel

There is no extra cost to use the Internet module it is included in the price of GuestMaster, and you can have unlimited number of bookings through the system.

You do need to have a current "One Year's Upgrades" support package for the main GuestMaster program to be able to use the Internet module service.  This ensures that we can keep you up to date as the service develops and new features come become available.
