New look Booking Chart
The Booking Chart has a new
slightly different look. The chart now includes shaded
area which display weekends and special days. The
black lines at midnight have been replaced by grey
line at the default start time on the days. This means
that booking timeblocks now fill the gaps between the
start time lines and appear more readable.
New Layout editor
There is a new enhanced layout
editor with better formula variable control. This
means, for example, greater control of how dates are
displayed and how variables can be calculated together
when the layout stationery is printed.
Auto Select of a available
space
In the Main Diary when you want
to make a new booking you now click on the Main Diary
to select the Start date, then click a second time to
select the End date, and finally you click on the
Resource Type (e.g. Single, Double, Twin) you require.
Now when you click on the Reserve button the
Reservation Diary appears, and a Grey Booking block
will be automatically selected to indicate the a free
space that meets your criteria.
De-Dupe feature in Customers
and Group selection screens
This feature allows you to get
rid of duplicated customer or group name and address
records very easily without changing individual
booking records.
Repeating Group Bookings
You can now create a booking
that repeats at regular intervals, by using the
repeating group bookings screen.
Auto Cancel Bookings
This feature enable automatic
cancellation of all bookings that have not been
confirmed after a set number of days since the booking
was made.
New look Booking Details screen
in high screen resolution mode
If you have a high resolution
screen (i.e. 1024 x 768 or higher), you can click the
More button and have the six booking details tabs
reduce to three tabs with more detail on each tab.
CRS system Ready - Source Mode
displayed on Status tab in Booking Details screen
GuestMaster is now ready for
external systems to provide bookings directly in to
GuestMaster. The Booking Details screen now also
displays the source of the booking.
Default number of copy of
invoice to print
You can now default to more than
one copy of an Invoice when you print it.
Booking Itinerary
The Booking Itinerary allows you
to add a list of items needed for a booking. This can
be used for Newspaper requirements etc, or for
reminders like "12 Tea(s) at 3:00pm" etc. These can be
printed with the Booking Details or in a report in
management reports.
Resource Details Notes
You can now enter notes to a
Resource. This can be useful to House Rental companies
to enter the address of the house.
Read-only user mode
A new user level has been
provided to allow read only access to GuestMaster.
Once in Check In default
Ability to set the default on
the Booking Detail screen to be "No Daily Update",
"Once on Check In" or "Daily Update"
Invoice Folder Naming
I is now possible to name the
invoice folders. For example Invoice Folder 1 could be
"Main", 2 could be "Expenses" etc.
Day Name on Main Diary
It is now possible name days on
the Main Diary. When a day is named on the Main Diary,
a light blue shaded area is shown on the Reservation
diary. This is useful to indicate Public Holidays etc.
Separate settings for Adults,
ChildA, ChildB and ChildC in Packages
When GuestMaster Tariff Control
is in Per Person mode, Packages now have separate
settings for Adults, ChildA, ChildB and ChildC. This
means that if you sell a package the children can have
their packages items (e.g. meals) at a different cost
from the adults.
Packages Inclusive items for
use by the EPOS module
Packages items can now be marked
as inclusive and an allowance is given to the customer
for this value. Inclusive items are only used by the
EPOS module, they are not used by the GuestMaster main
program.
Minimum charge in Tariff
Control
When GuestMaster Tariff Control
is in Per Person mode, you can now set a minimum
charge that will apply, no matter how many people
stay.
Summary screen new variables
The Summary screen now has
variables for Booking Reference, Nationality and
Passport Number.
Enhanced Audit Log
The Audit Logs are now kept
until archived. There is a new audit log screen in the
Office area.
Enhanced Per Resource Rate in
in Tariff Control
You can now have up to 4 extra
rates in Resource Rate. These rate and be set to start
after the booking duration exceed a set number of
days.
Customer Credit Limits
Customers can have a credit
limits set. If they exceed this limit a message is
displayed when adding invoice items.
Customer credit card details
kept with customer record
The customers credit card
details are now kept with the customer record no
longer with the booking record. This makes it easier
to use this feature to retrieve their details quickly
when taking payments.
Enhanced Backup program
The backup program now takes a
backup of all your GuestMaster files including the
Database and the stationery layout files.
Invoice Payment screen
New Invoice payment screen which
can now store the credit card start date, expiry date
and issue number in the customer record.
