Major features or enhancements

 

 

Enhanced Timeblock control - all editions

With a special timeblock such as an Internet Closed timeblock is created, when a normal timeblock, e.g. a Reservation timeblock, is dropped over the special timeblock on to the same period, the Internet closed timeblock will be automatically curtailed to allow the Reservation timeblock to the automatically adjusted to fit the remaining space. The record locking system has also been enhanced to provide full record locking for special timeblocks.

 

Mail Merge to Email - Enterprise edition only

This major new feature allows the user to mail merge a standard document and automatically send it to Email instead of printing it.

The document can have simple formatting using the built in mail merge editor in GuestMaster.

 

Credit Card details encryption - All editions

All credit card details are now stored in an encrypted form as required by the banks. Visually in GuestMaster you will see no difference, however internally to the database the credit card details are encrypted and cannot be read by directly accessing the database from outside of GuestMaster.

 

Enhanced Database Archive

Depending on the types of data in the database, the Database Archive feature has been enhanced to produce a small final database size.

 

Graphs - Copy to Clipboard

A Copy to Clipboard button has been added. This allows you to paste many different graphs into a document for printing in one go.

 

Aged Balances - Copy to Clipboard

A Copy to Clipboard button has been added. This allows you to paste the data into other application like Microsoft Excel for further analysis.

 

Talking Tutors now pre installed

All the talking tutors are now included in the main GuestMaster program so you no longer need to install them from CD, and can use them immediately.

 

Faster Installation

The installation of GuestMaster is now faster and the wait before the initial install prompt is shown has been reduced.
