Major features or enhancements

 

Now supports Microsoft Vista x86

Microsoft Vista x86 is now support in all GuestMaster editions and modules.

 

 

Special Offers feature - Enterprise Edition

A brand new major part in the Enterprise edition is the Special Offers feature.  When using the Tariff Control feature in the Enterprise edition to control your resource tariffs for different resource type in different seasons of the year, the Special Offers feature can be used to temporarily override the set pricing structure for a specific resource for a specific period of time. This allows the user to very easily set up a new Special Offer price to assist in quiet periods when they need to bring more business in. 

 

The feature can also be used to increase prices temporarily, for example, during Jazz week without the need to change the main Tariff Control settings.

 

Any price set in the Special Offers feature only affect the resource price element, and other items in any package are still added on afterwards.  The new price is then automatically reflected on to the Company Website when using the GuestMaster Internet Module.

 

 

Enhanced Help file

All GuestMaster help files have been enhanced to be more flexible to make it easier to locate the information you require.

 

 

Enhanced Resource Closed feature - Professional and Enterprise editions

It is now possible to create a Timeblock on the Reservation diary just to put a note in, rather than also having to close that resource on the Internet (Via the Internet module) as well.

 

You can now also close the resource to just the Internet and still have is available in GuestMaster.

 

 

Enhanced Layout Editor and printing - Professional and Enterprise editions

The Invoice and Letter editor and printing has been enhanced in many minor ways to speed up production of letters and invoices.

 

 

Auto Credit Card type detection

When a credit card type (VISA, MasterCard, etc.) is passed to GuestMaster from the Internet module, if there is an exact match to a type already set in GuestMaster's Method of Payment screen, then that card type will be selected and shown as being the card type the customer has in the Booking Details screen.

 

 

Enhanced Talking Tutor Viewer

The Talking tutor has been enhanced to allow Full Screen play back of the Talking Tutors.
